Swooping into spotlight this week is our teeniest Crochet Kit – The Little Owl. If you’ve never tried your hand at crochet, this smaller kit is the perfect place to start! All of our crochet kits include detailed stich instructions as well as reference images to guide you each step of the way.
It is a common misconception that all owls are nocturnal, and it actually depends on the species of owl as well as the season as to why they might be seen in the daytime. During the winter season, many owls will hunt for food supplies at all times of day to ensure they have enough.
A group of owls also has a variety of different names, but the most common is a parliament or a wisdom of owls.
Inside each of our crochet kits you’ll find everything you need:
- British aran weight yarn
- British felting wool for adding unique features
- 3.5mm crochet hook
- Bent tapestry needle for sewing the pieces together
- Felting needle for adding the details
- ‘How to Crochet’ booklet
- Beautiful gift box
We love seeing how you get on with your kits, so make sure to tag us on Facebook and on Instagram using #HawthornHandmade. And don't forget to leave us a review on Facebook letting us know how you got on!
