Since then, Hawthorn Handmade has grown into a much loved craft brand known all over the world for our high quality kits and spreading the joy of handmade!
The kit is beautifully presented and was well received by my 11 year old granddaughter.
I havent started the cat kit but have been doing the Explore one. Both the kits are great designs and nice colours and straightforward enough for someone who dabbles like me. Not sure when/where to use the different stitches though. I'm using running stitch so far but enjoying it.
Hi Eleanor, thanks so much for your lovely review and I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the kit! We do give suggested stitches and show you were to do them on the colour coded pattern card included, but you are of course free to use your own stitches and make the piece totally unique to you! Happy Crafting :)
Gorgeous and simple .
I really enjoyed this kit and it was beautifully presented
I’m quite new to embroidery with the guide booklet I accomplished all the different stitches and very pleased with the outcome
Lovely package and everything in kit, needle very small and threader broke on first use , but otherwise enjoyable first time embroidery kit, very clear instructions, will defo get another when I finish this one
Thank you so much for your review Elaine and I'm so glad you'll be back for another kit soon! We don't provide a needle threader in our kits, but I am sorry to hear the one you had broke. The needle we provide is an embroidery needle with a larger eye (where the thread goes) than normal sewing needles, but yes, threading needles can be tricky! As we say in our instructions, wetting the ends of the threads can help, or you can thread each strand one by one. I hope that helps for your next project! Stephanie - Hawthorn Handmade
